Calcium Petroleum Sulphonate TBN 30 is a high molecular 30 TBN calcium sulfonate. The increased oil solubility of the organic portion of this sulfonate enables the product to provide rust protection and acts as dispersant for graphite and molybdenum disulfide.
APPLICATION. POT 7110 is a TBN 300 crystalline over based calcium sulfonate POT 7110 is a general purpose over based calcium sulfonate typically used as a detergent and rust inhibitor in crankcase lubricants. Nominal dosages would range from 0.5 to 5.0 wt. % of the finished lubricant.
Calcium Petroleum Sulphonate TBN 400 is used with other additives to formulate supercharged diesel and gasoline engine oils. It provides base for neutralizing corrosive acids and detergency for deposit control in engines operating under high temperature.
